Youth camp programs have always been a massive part of what the Y does. And that’s because we do them well.
We take pride in providing outdoor experiences that are not only safe, accessible, welcoming, unique and (of course) fun, but that also play a formative role in character-building and personal development.
Each year, we welcome over 20,000 kids to our Y camps, where outdoor adventures are designed to provide unique opportunities to explore, learn and grow. Our Kids to Camp Annual Fund is critical in helping us welcome this astounding number of young individuals to our sites!
On a Mission to Extend and Expand Our Impact
Putting Y camp experiences within reach of more kids across the many communities we serve remains a crucial part of our work. Donations to our Kids to Camp Fund help us do this by funding access-boosting scholarships and program offerings.
Applications for financial aid are continually increasing, and it is important for us to keep up with this demand so that every Y camp program remains accessible.
Kids to Camp donations also allow us to improve and grow our camp offerings through staff training and retaining, equipment and facility updates, and programmatic expansion.
