Resettlement Network Services
At the YMCA, we're more than a resource — we're a community ready to welcome and help you succeed.
Our Resettlement Network Services, in partnership with the State of Minnesota's Resettlement Programs Office, are designed to help newcomers integrate into American society while fostering more welcoming communities.
Our services include:
- Family Resource Connections – Helping families access and navigate community resources to address immediate and long-term needs.
- Immigration Legal Services – Providing expert legal assistance for work authorization, permanent residency, and citizenship applications through accredited attorneys and representatives.
- Employment and Career Supports – Offering job skills assessments, financial planning, job placement, career advancement, and pathways to economic stability.
- Family Education Supports – Guiding families through early childhood and K-12 education, helping students succeed in school, and supporting youth with high school completion and post-secondary planning.
- Community Workshops – Educational sessions on key topics such as employment, public transit, financial literacy, public education, housing, healthcare, and public safety.
- Newcomer Health Promotion Services – Providing individualized health support to help newcomers access healthcare, manage health conditions, and navigate health systems, with outreach and education for targeted communities.
