Upgraded Experience to Come

The Blaisdell pool will be closed for renovations beginning on Saturday, May 25, at noon, and we expect the work will take approximately six weeks to complete. Morning swim lessons will take place on May 25 as scheduled. Pool work will include:

• Re-tiling the pool and pool deck.
• Rebuilding and regrading our sauna.
• Refreshing our aquatics space with new paint and an overall deep cleaning.

During the renovations, we expect no disruption to other programming. For pool access, please use a nearby YMCA branch. Check our app and emails or view this page for the latest information. We appreciate your patience as we upgrade our Y to meet your fitness needs and enhance your member experience.

June 26 Update

The pool renovations are under way! Tile removal of the floors and pool have been completed and retiling has begun. A fresh new coat of paint has been applied to the walls in the area.

Up next we will be rebuilding the sauna benches and getting new lights to make the pool area brighter. We are on track with a completion date still scheduled for the middle of July. Check back for more updates as we upgrade our pool area!
