Join the Alzheimer’s Association at Target Field in Minneapolis on September 21, 2024 for an inspiring morning full of hope. The Walk to End Alzheimer’s Twin Cities is a family-friendly event to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. Connect with a community of others who care about ending this disease or walk to honor a loved one. Kare-11’s Karla Hult and Telemundo’s Gabi Del Moral will host the opening ceremony followed by a casual walk of one or two miles. Registration is free, with fundraising encouraged.
Classes and Support Groups
Alzheimer's and other dementia's cause memory, thinking, and behavior problems that interfere with daily living. The Alzheimer’s Association MN-ND offers many no-charge classes for people living with the disease as well as those who support them.
Early Stage Programs
There are many no-cost early-stage social engagement programs for individuals living with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) or other early dementia and their caregivers. These provide an opportunity to connect with others impacted by early memory concerns. Activities include gardening, dancing, support groups and more.
