YOUTH AND FAMILY SERVICES
We are deeply grateful for your generous support of the YMCA Youth and Family Services Programs (YFS.) You make it possible for young people and their families to access one of the Y’s cornerstone resources which has served our community for more than 30 years. From providing basic needs and personal support, to addressing homelessness, navigating foster care, and working through the juvenile justice system–you bolster YFS programs and ensure that the Y continues to be a trusted lifeline for young people and their families as they overcome difficult barriers and transform their lives.
For some participants, this might be the need for extended one-on-one coaching and support beyond the age of 18. For others it may be making sure a family has access to rental assistance to help navigate emergency housing situations.

Simply put, your support helps bridge the gap where grant-funding falls short so that the Y can nimbly respond to the changing needs of young people and their families when they are most vulnerable. Together we ensure that young people and families continue to build healthy, stable lives–not just to survive but thrive!
With Your Support
A gift of $2,200 will cover the cost of a month-long hotel stay for a family experiencing homelessness, and a gift of $50 will help an individual obtain identification documents necessary for securing stable employment.

Over 1,570 children, teens, families, and community members were supported through YFS programs in 2023. Your partnership will help us continue to improve and expand our services and resources.
