Getting to Camp Icaghowan

Camp Icaghowan offers both drop off and pick up at camp as well as an option to ride the bus. Regardless of which transportation is selected during registration, a photo ID is required to pick up all campers.  Please be sure that the person picking up your camper is approved in your registration portal. 

Drop-Off/Pick-Up at Camp 

Drop-Off On Sunday: please arrive at camp during the designated drop-off time. This will be communicated by the Program Director prior to your session and will fall between 1 - 2:30 p.m. Please call us if you are running late and will arrive after 2:30 p.m.

Pick-up On Friday: Please pick up your camper during the designated pick up time. This will be communicated by the Program Director prior to your session and will fall between 1 - 2:30 p.m.

Bus

YMCA Camp Icaghowan offers bus transportation to and from camp. The bus will arrive and depart from the YMCA in Shoreview. The bus to camp will depart at 12 p.m. on Sundays. It will return from camp by 3:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon. You must register for your transportation choice (bus or parent) at least 5 days before the start of your session to ensure adequate space for participants. Bus transportation is not available on Tuesday or Wednesday during Sampler Sessions.

Cost

  • The cost for bus transportation is $50 each way.

Bus Departure on Sundays: Arrive between 11:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. at the Shoreview YMCA. be sure to bring any forms that have not been submitted, and medications that your child will need for camp. 

Bus Return on Fridays: Arrive at 3:30 p.m. at the Shoreview YMCA. Remember to bring a photo ID. We will use this for verification when signing out your camper. 

Transportation Changes

Contact Us -  to make changes to your transportation. Requests must be made at least one week prior to the session start date.

Transportation change requests received one month or earlier prior to the session start date will be made with no additional change fee. Transportation change requests received up to one week prior to the session start date will be made and assessed a $10 change fee.
