The Camp du Nord Story

Camp du Nord was founded in 1933 by three schoolteachers living in the Iron Range. The women ran the resort until 1960 when it was purchased by the St. Paul YMCA.  Since it opened its doors as a Family Camp in 1961, du Nord has slowly grown and expanded from nine cabins to over 30 cabins and tent sites spread among three villages.
